With state-of-the-art technology, designers and jewelry professionals will consult with you to find out exactly how you would like your custom jewelry to look and feel. From there, they will use high tech software to create a computer model of your design. Before beginning to create this mold from wax, America’s Gold & Diamond Exchange will mail you a 3D copy of the design for your final approval.

Then, the design mold is printed in dense wax by a rapid prototype wax modeler or computerized milling machine. While a handmade wax model can take 8-10 hours to complete, the computerized printing of 5-7 molds can be completed in a mere 18 hours. While this is not only quicker, and will get your personalized jewelry to you faster, it is more accurate and of a better quality. While handmade molds are of quality, they can’t achieve the quality and precision that a computer can.

When casting, our methods include the use of an induction machine casting process. This reduces the porosity of a setting, which means that you receive a heavier, sturdier setting that will last more than a lifetime. We also cast in-house, which means that the quality of every piece of jewelry is closely monitored for perfection.
